Suzuki 2nd in Austria and 1st in Malaysia eSports races

GP Austria: Cristian started in P2 but he quickly climbed to P1 after a great start to the race. Unfortunately two mistakes cost him in terms of the final result and he therefore finished P2 just behind his brother.

GP Sepang: Cristian enjoyed the same starting position as he had in Austria (P2), but this time he managed to get into 1st place right from the beginning of the race, managing the pressure of the rivals well, and creating a gap between himself and second place. He kept up this great rhythm to win his first race of the season for Suzuki Ecstar Esports.

Cristian Sanchez (Suzuki Ecstar Esports Rider)

“I am very happy after this last event as I recovered from the first one quite well. The feeling with the bike has helped me to be comfortable race by race. I have gained a few positions in the overall standings, and I’m now second overall which is a fantastic result considering the final positions in Round 1. It will be tough to fight against my brother, Adrian, as he has been incredibly fast this season, but I will do my best in Round 3 to give myself the best chance to win in the final event.”

Javier Guerra (Suzuki Ecstar Esports Team Manager)

“Round 1 was tough, we couldn’t achieve the results we expected, and we faced Round 2 with the idea to climb a few positions in the overall standings. Cristian managed everything perfectly and obtained two great results in Race 3 and 4. It’s always special to celebrate the first win of the season! We’re still a bit far from the title leader, Adrian, but there’s still a long way to go. Hopefully we can keep up this momentum to fight for the championship once again.”
