MOTOGP ESPORT ROUND 1: ALGARVE & MUGELLO

ALGARVE QUALIFYING

It was a qualification with a bittersweet taste after pushing to fight for the front row, but several errors led Cristian to start in P4.

ALGARVE RACE

A good start for Cristian but he was hurt by a connection problem that deprived him of fighting for victory. After the fall, Cristian was able to recover many of the lost positions at a good pace, although he had to settle for sixth place.

MUGELLO QUALIFYING

The Qualifying lap was not very favourable for Cristian, after not looking completely comfortable while riding. Cristian had to be satisfied with a 7th position.

MUGELLO RACE

An extremely good start by the Spaniard, climbing up to 4th position and staying in a good consistent race pace. The problems came in the last three laps of the race, where he was not entirely comfortable, and that made Cristian lose P4 but still get a fifth place.

“The event in general did not go well, but surely the next rounds in Austria and Germany will be different; two circuits which I enjoy a lot.”- Cristian Sanchez

CRISTIAN SANCHEZ

“The event in general did not go well, now I am a bit far in the championship, and with the speed I had, I could have achieved much more, especially in Portimão, but surely the next rounds in Austria and Germany will be different; two circuits which I enjoy a lot”

JAVIER GUERRA

“The championship has just started and it is a bit early to see where we really are. I think Cristian has the potential to fight for podiums and victories, and we are optimistic that we will be able to fight for big goals as the season progresses.”

“Cristian has the potential to fight for podiums and victories.”- Javier Guerra
